Love walking your dog!
Does your dog:
- struggle on neighborhood walks?
- pull too much and test your strength and balance while you desperately cling to their leash?
- have melt downs regularly when they see other dogs?
- bark or growl at strangers (a.k.a. your very nice neighbors) while out for a daily stroll?
Has your dog been labeled as rude or “leash aggressive”?
Do you really enjoy walking your dog?
You have come to the right place! School Of Walk is a force-free dog training business based out of Austin, Texas and available anywhere that the internet goes. We specialize in leash training and reactive behavior modification. We use engaging and positive techniques to help dogs and their walking partners learn to be Walk Stars!
We like to think of dog training with School Of Walk as half-school and half-therapy for your dog and you. We will be looking at current behaviors and problems that you want to address, working toward improved reactions and setting realistic goals, but we also pay attention to the reasons that a behavior might have become a problem.
Together we will work to identify the root cause of behaviors that have become problems, reframe our emotional responses (ours and the dog’s), develop strategies for positive change, and create a happier, healthier, and safer environment for everyone involved.
